Paid Search (SEM) Consulting Service

Get your product or service seen where people are searching.

Increase your return on ad spend (ROAS) and improve pipeline/spend efficiency on SEM

Most companies spend a bulk of their digital marketing budget on paid search campaigns because of their intent-driven format, conversion rates are typically higher than other marketing channels. Since these campaigns can be costly, you should have an expert building and managing them, or working with your agency on your behalf to ensure the campaigns success.

We perform in-depth keyword and competitor analysis and share learnings around how users search for your product and service, and how your competitors position their products and services. These learnings can also be used with your team to support an overall content strategy and boost your search engine optimization (SEO) with queries that we know work.

Our Process

We can build paid search campaigns quickly and autonomously without taking much of your time, typically in under 10 business days.

We learn more about your business and ideal customer profile (ICP). Here we will also discuss the current state of your paid search accounts. You can expect us to discuss:

Based on what we discussed during the discovery call, we will deep-dive into the audience and your website assets. We pull together keywords, search volumes, and estimated conversion rates to build a model of what we can expect from paid search and how much we can invest effectively.

If you have current campaigns live, we will start by reviewing the current account for keyword selection, campaign structure, website conversion setup and more. Alternatively, we can set everything up for you. We have expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and can set everything up autonomously.

Get campaigns live on search, and start getting data to optimize.

Start driving learnings and most importantly, revenue. We also build a feedback loop to build and iterate campaigns.

    FAQs

What is the difference between search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is focused on improving your rankings in organic search results, which show below the paid search results. Paid search is more focused on bidding on the right search queries.

Search engine marketing (SEM), like in our name, is the same as paid search. Pay-per-click (PPC) is a bidding strategy that you can use on paid search or paid social ads. You can do SEM using a PPC bid strategy. Most campaigns now utilize other bidding strategies that are not PPC, and more focused on value-based bidding, like target return on ad spend (ROAS).

The appropriate spend number varies on a lot of factors like your average contract value (ACV) or average order value (AOV), as well as competitive factors. Paid search is auction-based, so the right bids will be based on how much your competitors are willing to pay.

This depends on your business goals, but we most often utilize leads or discovery calls scheduled, pipeline generated per dollar spent, and direct revenue.
